Elke was born on Valentine's Day in 2002. She was reluctantly given up by a loving home because her owner, a senior, was unable to keep up with her high activity level. This pup is on the shy side, and very athletic. She plays well with male dogs. She is only partially housebroken, but is used to sleeping in her crate, so completing this phase of her education should be no problem. Her exuberance and shyness would probably not mix well with very young children. Her perfect home would include a large yard and an owner with the time and energy to provide training, socialization, and exercise.  |
